Introducing the Vapefly Firebolt M Cotton

Pre-shaped cotton threads aren’t a new concept, but the Firebolt M Cotton executes the format well. Each strip is already formed into the right profile for a mesh deck, so there’s no pulling, thinning, or second-guessing the thickness before you thread it. The aglet tip does the job of guiding the cotton through the coil opening in one clean pass, cutting out the fiddly step that catches most builders out when working with loose roll cotton on a mesh deck. The organic Japanese cotton construction keeps flavour neutral and clean from the first wick. Lower-grade cottons can carry a faint papery taste through the first few uses, but the material quality here avoids that. For everyday builders who re-wick regularly, that consistency across a 12-pack makes a practical difference.

Why Choose the Vapefly Firebolt M Cotton?

• Accessory type: Pre-shaped cotton thread designed for mesh rebuildable atomisers (RDAs and RTAs)
• Material: 100% organic Japanese cotton for clean, neutral flavour delivery
• Ease of use: Aglet on one end acts like a shoelace tip, letting you thread the cotton directly through the mesh coil hole without needing tools or trimming the end first
• Pack size: 12 strips per pack, each 60mm in length
• Absorption: High absorbency supports steady e-liquid saturation across the full width of a mesh coil
• Flavour: Organic cotton construction avoids the break-in taste common with lower-grade cottons
• Best for: Experienced builders and enthusiasts running mesh RDAs, mesh RTAs, or rebuildable mesh coil decks
• Compatible devices: Confirmed compatible with the Vapefly Siegfried Kit; suits any mesh rebuildable accepting a 60mm thread format

Firebolt M Cotton sits in a practical middle ground between a loose cotton roll and a fully pre-built coil. You still control the build, but the threading process is noticeably quicker and more consistent each time.

Compatibility & Performance

The Firebolt M Cotton is designed for use with mesh rebuildable atomisers, including mesh RDAs and mesh RTAs. It is confirmed compatible with the Vapefly Siegfried Kit and works with any mesh deck that accepts a standard 60mm cotton thread format. The pre-shaped thread works well with high-VG e-liquids typically found in shortfills, which are commonly used in sub-ohm and direct-lung mesh builds, as well as 50/50 blends for lighter MTL-style mesh setups.Organic Japanese cotton wicks e-liquid evenly across a mesh surface, which is important for consistent flavour and avoiding dry spots. The 60mm length gives you enough material to fit most standard mesh decks, with room to trim the tails to the correct length once threaded. Because the strip is already shaped, you avoid the inconsistency that can come from hand-pulling cotton from a loose roll at varying thicknesses. For builders re-wicking regularly, a 12-piece pack offers a sensible supply without bulk storage concerns.
